Rajendra Bagwe
Serial Entrepreneur & Founder – Teaching Learning Community (TLC)
Rajendra Bagwe, a Mechanical Engineer from VJTI, Mumbai, also holds a management degree from Harvard, Boston.
He co-founded Reliable Autotech Pvt. Ltd. in 1984 with meagre capital of ₹2 lakhs, scaling it into a large enterprise with 8 plants in India, employing over 1500 people and exporting globally.
A serial entrepreneur and framework thinker, he also co-founded Contigo Consultants and HowFrameworks, supporting large and medium enterprises in strategy, restructuring, corporate policy deployment, and business excellence.
He founded the not-for-profit community Teaching Learning Community (TLC) in 2005, which now mentors 1,500+ entrepreneurs across 10 cities in Maharashtra. A philanthropist, he actively supports NGOs and educational institutions, and has served on several advisory boards.
His family shares his passion for education—his wife is a retired statistics professor and his son, Gaurav, is a Ph.D. economist based in the USA.
Mr. Bagwe’s life purpose is to ‘Empower the Indian Entrepreneur to Succeed’, with a vision to reach 10,000 Indian entrepreneurs by 2030.
