Phase-1 of the campaign was kicked off with a pilot in Pune in Maharashtra.The Climate Kranti Green Entrepreneurship Fellowship campaign was held at the MIT World Peace University, Pune on the 21st March 2023. Through the course of this knowledge-sharing session, students were inspired to consider an entrepreneurial career by donning the hat of Krantikaaris (climate change champions).
Students participated in an orientation session conducted by Madan Padaki (Co-Founder, Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship and Strategic Advisor, UNICEF India) along with 2 inspirational green entrepreneurs Akshay Agarwal (Co Founder ,Adrish: India’s First Organic Zerowaste Store Chain) and Abhishek Paranjpe, (Co Founder and COO, ReCharkha).
Amit Banka, Founder and CEO WeNaturalists conducted a presentation on the Climate Kranti Green Entrepreneurship Fellowship program at the launch of Online self-paced course for Youth on Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability on the occasion of Earthhour 2023 and World Water Week 2023. The launch of this course was a Government of Maharashtra (GoM) and UNICEF India Maharashtra initiative.
