“As a child, I never thought of entrepreneurship. I've grown up in an environment where it is recommended to study hard, get good grades, join a top shot MNC company to be secure with insurance and PF and then retire with a good pension. So I never planned for entrepreneurship. My entrepreneurial journey started when I was pursuing my master's in the UK; even after applying for multiple jobs, there was no luck. My friends and I then decided to work on developing a product. We initially built a similar product to Paytm, but eventually, we changed it to a payment gateway. This was my first startup, and I was thrilled by what I was doing. Though my parents were against it.The journey so far has been crazy, with endless struggles, failing, standing up again, thoughts of giving up, appreciation, awards, stress, but beautiful. I started with a small venture which ultimately failed. So my next venture was a training institute. Entrepreneurial journey for me is like a drug- the moment you taste it, it's challenging to get over it.Women Empowerment is not about competing or a race it’s purely about yourself. There are myths about women empowerment. Many women out there are unable to become what they want to be or successful due to many reasons and obstacles. That’s where coaches like me come into the picture to help them know their true potential and guide them throughout. The biggest challenge I faced during my entrepreneurial journey was ‘Financing.’ Older business owners have the advantages of a history of good credit and years of networking under their belt, making it easy to find investors and secure loans and contracts. The younger entrepreneur does not have these resources. You may be paying off your student loans, reducing your liquid capital. Don't be afraid to fail. If you've not failed, you've not learnt. It's important to learn from the failure and not make the same mistake again.”
