“It was when I was looking forward to pursuing my higher education I stumbled upon this art form. I have been fascinated by the mandala art form since the first time I learned about it and have since made it my profession. I have been a mandala artist and an art educator for four years. I am also a finance graduate.I have even supplied murals for cafes around Kolkata. I have conducted more than 600 workshops till now and hope to do more in the future. These workshops have been held across 12 different countries, in person and virtually. I, and many people too, find this art form to be very therapeutic and hence seek to pursue it. The products that I provide include these workshops and DIY boxes that I make.Since 2016 we as a community have grown in terms of understanding and just being aware of Mandala Art. Then, when I started, it was not that popular, and no one knew about the opportunity to make a career out of it. People used to be sceptical about my choice of giving up a mainstream career to take up something that, according to them, did not have any scope in the future. I want to thank my parents, who believed in me when no one did and also pushed me to work harder in this field. My advice to everyone, from my experience, is that follow your passion. No matter what it is, even if it is not popular now, it will be later. You can make it happen. Not giving up is the key.”
