“As a child, I never thought of becoming an entrepreneur. It all started suddenly. Last year I finally decided to get going on achieving my dream to have a positive impact on the world.Entrepreneurship is a beautiful experience. You are going to get hit and knocked down. I was learning to take the punches, and continuing to get up turns you into a more robust business owner and individual. Entrepreneurship is a journey, and everyone goes through it a little bit differently. I came across many experiences, both good and bad. It helped me learn a lot. I developed the risk-taking, determination, dedication, empathy, and leadership skills needed to run a successful startup. We started our organisation (an affiliate of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Research Foundation) intending to decrease overall cases of Mental Health Disorders. Since July 2020, we have been providing free Counselling, Medical help, Legal Help, Internships, Volunteerships, Fundraising, Food Drives and much more. Professionals are providing all these. In a year, we have done 500+ counselling sessions, 8+ food drives, 16+ Fundraisers, and 200+ Interns have worked here. We have treated critical cases like Sexual Abuse, Rape, Domestic Violence, Depression, Anxiety, and much more. The biggest challenge in my life was to convince the Clients to take up the counselling who were suffering from Mental Health Disorders. We need to overcome their stigma. With the help of my team and professionals, I overcame this. We make sure not to reveal their identity so that they feel comfortable with us. I believe in two quotes that I want to share for the new startups. 'Take care to get what you like; otherwise, you'll be forced to pick.''Be the candlelight in your lighthouse. Others will automatically get illuminated.”
