The 5 Minute Library (Podcaster, Book Reviewer)
"Every time I faced a failure, rejection, or challenge, what helped me get through them was having a diverse skill set to fall back on. Developing a range of hard and soft skills over the years with theoretical and practical knowledge created a safety net for me that allowed me to build a brand from scratch. As a child and teen, I enjoyed exploring various interests that engaged my creativity and skills. I performed multiple dance forms, played over three musical instruments, modelled, played tennis, learned oil painting, and read many books. Over the years, all of these have eventually helped shape who I am and lead to all the milestones I have been able to hit so far.Leaving behind my full-time finance career was indeed a tough choice. Then in 2019, I started as a full-time marketer. My co-founder, Ira Gopal, and I started working on our brand in late 2020. On January 10, 2021, we launched the first episode of our podcast. We aim to foster a reading culture among Millennials and Gen Z by helping them pick their following read-through byte-sized reviews. Since then, I’ve had incredible insight into what works for me professionally and what doesn’t.I am the co-founder and co-host of The 5 Minute Library and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. I have five years of experience in marketing. I was mentioned in Pune Pulse newspaper for being a young entrepreneur, in ‘Her Success Bits blog’ for my brand journey, and in ‘Aaj ka Anand’ newspaper for a book review. The 5 Minute Library podcast is on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, JioSaavn, Audible, and Google Podcasts. We cover multiple genres and have a series called the Author’s series, in which we speak directly to the authors of the books about their writing process and exclusive insights into their books. We also offer voiceover services.I want to give everyone a message: It doesn’t have to be big or perfect. It just has to be a little more than the last step consistently.
