Karthik Raj is a student studying in 7th standard from Amrita Vidyalayam Puthiyakavu. He is a technology enthusiast and he came up with his entrepnuership idea of creating a low cost EdTech Edueasy as a part of Atal catalyst program @ Indian School of Business.87% of students live in tier II+ cities and 62% of student belong to low income group (deprived and aspirer’s group). More than 50% of the children in India complete their upper-primary/middle school and secondary school studies in their home language. Hence they are unable to subscribe to costly EdTech solutions that are taught mainly in English language and get better in their academics. Edueasy is aiming to provide good quality education to this student group. Edueasy's target audience is therefore student population in Aspirer income category in Tier II+ cities in India.EduEasy is a web portal where contents will be delivered through videos, live chats, synopsis of a chapter, online sessions in English and local home language like Malayalam, Tamil etc. Students can avail personalized doubt clearing sessions.Edueasy's Value Proposition is: - Ultra-Low-pricing - Lessons in local languages. - Lessons created by students for students. - Personalized doubt-clearing services through experienced teachers - Attractive games and quizzesEdueasy's USP is: Ultra-Low-Cost EdTech in local home languages providing personalized attentionEdueasy's business model is a Freemium model : Lot of educational content is free.
