More details are on - I am deeply interested in the long-term work of building fairer workplaces for all. Working women are considered superwomen who can do it all. Well, working women have the same number of hours like anyone else, and need (deserve) rest too, which means everyone else (especially men), need to step up at home.Many workplaces as they are today lack empathy, adequate training in soft skills and leadership skills, and space/processes for bottom-up feedback rather than top-down alone. With inadequate focus on defining goals and training people to get there, we tend to substitute ‘hours spent’ as an easy substitute for work done.I would like a different model that recognizes how everyone is unique and brings something different to an organization. An inclusive organization brings these people together, and enables different strengths to come together, to make something where the whole is better than the sum of its parts. The future of work should be Flexible. Inclusive. Helping people adapt.
