42-year-old Manpreet belongs to Nangal Heera village of Alwar district and works as a Saral Jeevan Saheli of Frontier Markets. She encourages rural area people to place online orders of household goods they want, and the company delivers those goods to them at their doorstep. Through this, people benefit from online delivery facilities in rural areas, just like it takes place in urban areas. Before becoming a ‘Saheli’, she used to work in a private school through which she came across Frontier Markets. Manpreet is now a famous face in her community for her work. Her family is so proud of her as she supports people with door-step access that saves travel time and money. “Through the money I earn with my Saheli transactions, I help my husband pay the school fees for my daughters, and I look forward to festival seasons for extra income,” says Manpreet.
