Elias Shaik graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a Civil & Infrastructure Engineering background. He initially worked as a strategist in L&T for a 4700 crore Landmark railway project. He always wanted to create impact and change the world by solving one problem at a time and chose entrepreneurship as a means to do it. To start with, he moved to startups and launched OYO LIFE operations in Tokyo, Japan and scaled the business for two years. He always worked with CXOs and VPs of the organisations to execute cross-functional projects that are key objectives for the Businesses. Business Strategy, Operations and Customer Experience are his core strengths. He is a huge Anime fan, loves travelling and reading books. He is also very curious about the startups that are being built in various industries and a rookie researching Sustainable Development Goals. Elias, along with Komal and Prasanth co-founded Morff with a vision to make design accessible, reliable and affordable for SMBs/Startups of India. In the next five years, our plan is to organise 1% design market i.e, 440 million USD of India. Morff is a managed freelance design marketplace catering to all design needs of SMBs/Startups from branding, marketing, UI/UX, Animation, Packaging, fashion to even Retail store design!. Unlike other existing horizontal marketplaces solutions, we believe the following is the best way to serve our target customers. 1. Solving access to the right designer by providing curated designer profiles 2. Enable reliable planning by formulating proposals with detailed design methodologies 3. Project management support to address project delivery with desirable quality as per agreed timelines We validated this by bagging 110 projects to date with a GTV worth 45 Lakhs. Our customer retention rate is 35% and NPS is 60. Our Platform currently has 750 freelance designers with an NPS of 90. High repeatability and NPS attests to the fact that our stakeholders love us.
