On the 12th of December, 2019, GAME supported by Facebook, hosted the Annual Mass Entrepreneurship Convening at The Park in New Delhi.
This brought together nano & mass entrepreneurs, policymakers, bureaucrats, foundations, businesses and non- profits with an aim to facilitate meaningful, actionable conversations, thereby building a thriving mass entrepreneurship ecosystem.
While the opening sessions helped to re-imagine the mass entrepreneurship eco-system to achieve a larger scale and immerse in the journeys of entrepreneurs, the masterclasses and workshops helped to engage with various themes and provide actionable outputs.
The Landscape report on Unlocking Opportunities for Women was also launched at the Convening by Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, the Minister of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
We had a host of eminent speakers including Dr. Rajiv Kumar (Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog), Dr. K P Krishnan (Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India), Anjuly Duggal (Former Secretary of Financial Services & Advisory Board Member, GAME), Shri Jayant Sinha (Member of Indian Parliament and formerly the Minister of State for Finance and the Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Government of India), Subroto Bagchi (Chairman, Odisha Skill Development Authority), Nipun Mehta (Founder, Service Space), Dr. Yasmin Haque (UNICEF Representative in India), Shelley Thakral (Head of Policy Programs, India, South Asia, and Central Asia, Facebook), Vidit Aatrey (Founder and CEO, Meesho), Supriya Paul (Co- Founder, Josh Talks).
